Our Purpose

"Hope lives on" is more than a message. It is about having hope even in the darkest times. It is about having the courage to persevere and having heart to make an impact. Perseverance takes hope, and if we can find ways to uplift others who are finding it difficult to find hope, we are taking steps in the right direction. Having hope is to make the choice to help others when YOU yourself are in a dark place. We want this initiative to be more than a message, but a way to take action and stand up for what is right. We want to advocate for those who are marginalized and empower those who are finding it difficult to move forward.

Our ongoing goal is to have one or more t-shirt releases each month to benefit a different social justice cause. We will be donating the sales from our shirts to various non-profit organizations that are protecting human rights, fighting for justice, and working toward ending homelessness. Our efforts will also focus on mental health awareness and erasing stigma around mental illness.

The shirts feature original designs thanks to the generosity of artists across the US and abroad who support this project.

Hope Lives On was initiated by a masters student in the School Psychology Program at Southern Connecticut State University with support from the faculty and students on the Social Justice Committee at SCSU. Let us all stand up and do what is right.
