The JED Foundation is a non-profit organization that is located in New York, that promotes mental health advocacy, protects emotional and mental health, and works to prevent suicide for our nation's teens and young adults. The JED Foundation also works with high schools and colleges throughout the nation to strengthen their mental health, suicide prevention, and substance abuse prevention programs and systems. They provide a continuum of care by equipping teens and young adults with the skills and coping tools to help themselves and each other. The JED Foundation educates the community about the importance of teen and young adult mental health. They work with youth and young adults of all backgrounds.
